Benchmade Furniture Debuts in Portland

JD Madison is pleased to announce the arrival of the new Benchmade furniture collection. The Benchmade signature is to artfully blend the classic look of traditional furniture with the clean lines of contemporary design. Brownstone Furniture and J. Marshall Designs have collaborated to create a new upholstery line of 10 contemporary frames in over 60 fabric and leather options. The cornerstone of the Benchmade brand is to offer top quality home furnishings at an affordable price point, and they have designed their new upholstery line to exceed those high standards.

Christiane Millinger in Oregon Home

Oregon Home Magazine features Christiane Millinger, the textile aficionado behind our sister store, Madison Millinger, on the cover of its latest issue. From Oregon Home: Christiane and her husband, Anton Pardini, bought a dated 1929 villa-like home in Southwest Portland six years ago. After years of TLC—peeling off layers of wallpaper, replastering the walls, modernizing the home’s original galley kitchen, and restoring the terraced gardens and accenting them with sculpture—the couple can kick back with their daughter in the family’s now beautiful, art-filled eclectic spaces.
